An old woman with a red banner is not a diplomat, she will not yield

Sergey Platonov

In the February article “The old horse will not spoil the furrow, but plows finely,” I wrote that the cart of Russian diplomacy, in my opinion, is outdated and does not correspond to the new tasks of presidential foreign policy. Especially in the context of a special military operation to protect the population of the republics of Donbass and the forceful denazification of the Kyiv Nazi regime. Already after this publication in the Argumenty Nedeli Internet portal, I somehow thought: “Well, why are you running into Lavrov, where is he and where are you, calm down.”
But it was not there. So, in an interview with India Today, the minister said: “We are not going to change the regime in Ukraine”, “We have talked about this many times, we want Ukrainians to decide how they want to live”, etc. etc.
Solid kolobrodstvo thoughts and complete inconsistency with the goals of the special military operation declared by the president. I call it de-occupation, that is, liberation from the double invasion – Bandera and European-NATO occupation. But in any case, I don’t understand how in the minds of our “old-timers” diplomats and newly-minted diplomats-negotiators like Medinsky, two phenomena can be combined: Russian forceful influence on the Nazi regime and unwillingness to “change” it. Then why all the suffering and sacrifice? Do not repeat the “Minsk process”, gentlemen diplomats!
According to Lavrov, it turns out that the insane Ukrainian Nazi regime is denazifying itself.
And what, the Ukrainians, with whose approval he acts (75% of the voters in the last presidential elections brought this regime to power), suddenly realize what they have done and they themselves will drive Zelensky and the gang away. What if they don’t realize?
Of course they do not realize, because Nazism is a disease that cannot be self-treated.
If the matter is not brought to the point of unconditional surrender of the Ukrainian Nazis and left at their discretion at least a particle of the current territory, Nazism will certainly revive. And then what, fight to infinity?! No and no again. It is diplomats who can wipe their pants for decades in negotiations with unclear results.
The special operation should end in a reasonably short time with the complete capitulation of the Kyiv regime, the division of the hostile pseudo-state into two natural ethnic territories and one sub-ethno-territory.
The first, consisting of twelve regions and two people’s republics of the east and south, is part of Russia.
The second, out of the five regions of the center and northwest, will be transformed into the status of a Russian dominion, that is, it will come under the full political control of Moscow.
Third, the western regions (Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Ternopil) create the Republic of Galicia, and the Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi regions, with the permission of Russia, become self-determined as part of neighboring states. In other options, we will not receive strong security guarantees for Russia, neutrality and non-nuclear status of Ukraine.
PS At the end of this material, on TV they showed a now well-known episode from Ukrainian life, where an old woman with a red banner opposed the power of a truly human disinterested spirit to the vile abomination of the Nazis.
So she can be entrusted with negotiating. She won’t give in. Not big, not small. And it will bring the plan of the Russian government to its logical and victorious end.
