“Close the sky”

“Close the sky”

Vladimir Kornilov

The purely Ukrainian concept of “Wheel of genoty”, denoting the periodic change of “zrada” (treason), “shame” (shame) and “overcoming” (victory), has now sparkled with new colors. Before the public has time to declare any negotiations with Russia and formulas of a possible compromise as “zrada”, the Kyiv “chief calmer” Aleksey Arestovich appears on the screens, gives out on the air a set of completely unimaginable fantasies – and the same public immediately rushes to celebrate the “victory”.
For example, do you know that Ukraine is already “acceleratingly joining the European Union”? Believe me, the European Union does not know about it either. And the Ukrainians are already convinced of this. Or has anyone heard of the existence of an “alternative NATO “? And Ukraine is already joining it. She is not even embarrassed by the presence of Russia itself in this imaginary structure. Yes, yes, our country is also there, although it does not yet suspect it. As well as he does not know that from now on she is obliged to make every effort for the speedy entry of Ukraine into the EU. I’m not kidding. Russia should contribute to the urgent enlarg-ement of the European Union. Perhaps the State Duma should adopt a special resolution on the admission of Ukraine to the EU. Can you imagine how in Europetense in this case. They definitely don’t see Ukraine there either now or later.
Here are far from all the paradoxical statements by Arestovich and a number of other Ukrainian figures about the results of “agreements with the Russian side” allegedly reached during a series of recent negotiations. And it doesn’t matter that there are no agreements yet, but there is only a list of Ukrainian wishes, which the Russian side announced after a face-to-face meeting of delegations in Istanbul. But even there, in Turkey, the head of the Ukrainian delegation, adviser to the head of the office of the president of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, happily told the press about his intention to create a “pool of security guarantors”, which would include Russia. In addition, he stated that these “guarantees” this time would be completely different from those at the time of the signing of the 1994 Budapest Memo-randum. Now Kievwill force the guarantor countries to ratify this treaty at the level of parliaments and make it legally binding.
As usual, the “agreements” (in fact, the “wishlist” of the Ukrainian delegation), which in Ukraine were first perceived as “bad” in connection with the refusal to join NATO, were creatively developed by Arestovich. His speech on this subject can be safely included in an anthology of near-political fiction of the 21st century. Immediately, the arrow of the “Wheel of Genotba” rapidly turned to the “Peremoga” indicator.
It turns out (if you do not respect yourself enough to believe Arestovich), Ukraine again managed to deceive everyone – both Russia and NATO, and anyone else. According to him, in addition to us, many countries have already given their consent to become “guarantors of security” to Ukraine – the United States, Poland, Britain, China, Turkey, and indeed all the permanent members of the UN Security Council. And it doesn’t matter that many of them didn’t suspect it, and some (including the USA, by the way) refuted their desire to enter this dubious “pool”. But Arestovich had already explained to the public not only the composition of the “guarantors”, but also the detailed mechanism of their work.
According to the version of the Kiev side, in the event of aggression against Ukraine, the “guarantors” must meet within three days. Arestovich even raised his finger at these words: “Not 60, as in the fifth article of NATO (there are 60 days!), But within three days!” Where he got the information about 60 days from, it’s better not to ask – it’s like asking a science fiction writer why he drew three tails for fictional alien creatures, and not fo-ur. So, the guarantors must get together and immediately “provide military, economic, humanitarian, political assistance, including the closed sky, which is specially spoken out.”
With such a scheme, it is quite logical to ask whose potential aggression we are talking about. After all, if Russia is among the “security guarantors”, then it is not about the Russian one. She cannot make a decision to “close the sky” against her aviation. Apparently, K-iev decided to protect itself in advance from aggression from Hungary or Romania – they have not yet been invited to the “pool”.
And all these fantasies of an obviously unhealthy person are presented to the Ukrainian public as a brilliant maneuver of Kyiv. Arestovich concludes: “As a result, Ukraine enters the EU, Ukraine will not have NATO offensive weapons, which were not here anyway, Ukraine receives guarantees better than Article 5 of NATO and will not pay for them. And all states joining NATO pay for participation in NATO. And we get better guarantees and free of charge!” As you understand, the word “free” in this case is the key. Avon, like Kyiv, also cheated its sponsors: they are now forced to fight for Ukraine against someone’s “aggression”, and Kyiv will only receive crazy money for participating in “alternative NATO” – this is how the “chief calmer” dubbed his incredible scheme.
It is not surprising that the Western countries were not inflamed with a desire to participate in it. Moreover, judging by CNN, they were extremely surprised by such statements by the Ukrainian side. The United States made it clear that “they are not ready to announce anything concrete about the possibility of becoming security guarantors for Ukraine.” And they even stressed that they would avoid any steps that could lead to a direct military clash with Russia. Poland seemed to be waiting for this reaction from Washington, after which it announced through the mouth of Yaroslav Kaczynski : Warsawas if ready to enter the list of “guarantors”, but only on the condition that it includes “the United States, as well as other large European states.” This is necessary, but Arestovich told his audience that everyone already agreed.
What to talk about, even if British Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab directly stated about the fantasies of the Ukrainian side: “I think that we are not going to unilaterally repeat NATO’s obligations to NATO members.”
Judging by the sources of The Times, London is not only not going to act as any kind of “guarantor of Ukraine’s security”, but also convinces Vladimir Zelensky of the need to abandon the “quick conclusion of a peace agreement with Russia.” According to these sources, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, in a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine, voiced the following position of his government: “Some of our allies are too eager for Zelensky to resolve the situation. conduct these negotiations. Moreover, the newspaper even named those allies who support the negotiations: France, It turns out that the British continue to adhere to the opinion that the Ukrainians must die in the war with Russia. But this is exactly what Johnson told Zelensky when he was on a visit to Kiev on February 1 this year and said that the Ukrainians are obliged to “fight to the last drop of blood.” Why should London now change this position and even more so take on any obligations? Just like in the classic Soviet joke: “The doctor said” to the morgue “- that means to the morgue.” All that Johnson, with this approach, can guarantee is a beautiful funeral service for the Ukrainian state.
That’s what in Ukraine, dancing from the joyful “p-ossible” reports of Arest-ovich, they still don’t want to understand. The West has repeatedly stated and continues to declare: no one there is going to fight and die for this country. And accordingly, no one will give serious security guarantees.
At one time, quotes were widely circulated on the Internet, in which the following thoughts were attributed to billionaire George Soros : “The task of Ukrainians is to fight. For as long as possible. ashes, littered with stinking corpses, because Russia will undertake to restore it, and save people.” Soros is alleged to have stated this in an interview with Cicero magazine published in December 2014.
A lot of “anti-fake” sites (including those from Soros’ own structures) angrily refute these quotes. But it is noteworthy that they themselves refer not to the interview, but to its brief announcement from the magazine’s website. And the link to the article itself in this announcement leads nowhere, to a non-existent page. That is, the Western “fighters against fakes” themselves do not know what their sponsor claimed in a scandalous interview, but they confidently declare that the phrases attributed to him were not there. I wonder where they could find out.
Whether Soros said something like that or not, it is not known exactly, but the fact remains: it is this scenario, described back in 2014 by the billionaire or his Russian interpreters, that is being accurately implemented by the West in Ukraine now. Before her frankly tasked: to turn into the very “ashes, littered with stinking corpses.” The more blood, the more corpses, the more valuable for leaders like Johnson. What kind of “security guarantees” on his part can we talk about in such a scenario!
As you can see, the main sponsors of the current Ukrainian regime supply it with thousands of tons of lethal weapons and stubbornly refuse to guarantee the country’s security. It turns out that again, as in all ages, only one state, Russia, is ready to become the only guarantor of stability, security, and development of Ukraine. History will not deceive: only together with Russia, only as part of Russia, Ukraine (whatever this land was called in different time periods) grew in population, territory, industry. And vice versa, it always fell apart and came to the state of ruins (this is how it is written in Ukrainian history textbooks), as soon as it turned out to be outside our common state. And neither Johnson, nor Biden, nor even the dreamer Arestovich can come up with anything else.
