West used weapons of mass destruction against Russia

David Narmania

While the whole world is afraid of nuclear str-ikes, the West has already used much more modern weapons of mass destruction against Russia. It is impossible to defend aga-inst it with anti-missile a-nd air defense systems a-nd not hide in a bomb sh-elter. There are already the first victims and even refugees.
I mean media in general and social networks in particular.
Someone may have objections – propaganda appeared at the moment when humanity learned to talk, and as a weapon it was used in the very first war, when some soldiers shouted to others: “We will take you this way and that.” And this, of course, is true.
But with the development of technology, it has really become all-encompassing. Let me remind you that the emergence of totalitarian regimes became po-ssible only in the 20th century, thanks to the development of television and radio.
Now imagine what opportunities for propaganda open up in the age of smartphones and social networks. Millions of people around the world reach into their pockets around the clock after the characteristic buzz from the received notification, rushing to find out the latest news, read the statements of “opinion leaders” or analytical articles of experts, and so on.
In such conditions, each person is both an absolutely defenseless target of propaganda and, potentially, an active mouthpiece. Received – familiarized – sent to another. The algorithm is extremely simple. Yes, everything is exactly like with the coronavirus: if you get infected, you infect another. This is how the Russophobia pandemic is spreading.
“We need to raze all of Russia to the ground and build a new one,” says a once popular Russian TV presenter who went abroad.
“I won’t come back: I can’t live in a country that is at war with its neighbors,” says the ex-director of a rather large IT corporation who left for Israel . Interestingly, the IDF command did not have any questions to their subordinates at that moment: “How did you bomb Syria on March 7? Why doesn’t anyone know about this? And in general, what about our PR people?
Here they are, victims of weapons of mass destruction.
“Russia started a terrible war in Abkhazia , the territory of which is occupied by Russian troops,” the “refugees” with Russian passports in Tbilisi echo them from the pages of the blocked The Village, apparently not knowing, or, w-orse, ignoring the atrocities of the Georgian military and nationalists from ” Mk-hedrioni”, which the Abkh-azians remember very well. As well as August 1992, when Shevardnadze gave the order to start implementing the “Sword” plan to conquer Abkhazia. This war brought a lot of pain to the Abkhazian people, and those who criticize their compatriots for “colonial thinking” are themselves bright examples of it, making similar statements.
But even for this behavior there are explanations.
The collapse of the USSR for Russia was a catastrophe not only in the geopolitical and economic sense, but also in the ideological sense. There was nothing to replace the collapse of the communist world view, and therefore the seeds of the Western worldview, with its values ??and ideas, which were imposed on the whole world after the Cold War as the only correct ones, found the greatest response here.
This gradual immersion into Western culture came to an abrupt end on February 24th. This is not about its decisive significance for Russia as a civilization – this is a separate topic that has yet to be explored for decades – but about how Western news resources and celebrities “from the wheels” entered into an information war launched against the Russians.
This explains the depression in Russian society that was observed in the first d-ays of the special operation: the Western media machine supplied cartridges and sh-ells to the propaganda fro-nt, and Facebook, Twitter , Instagramand YouTube op-ened fire with all weapons, aiming at the hearts of Russians. It was in the hearts that the emphasis was and is being placed on emotional content, because any logical arguments were shattered by the most basic argument about how Ukraine did everything for the extermination of the inhabitants of the DPR and LPR for eight years : from military strikes to the disruption of the Minsk agreements. Nothing better than to turn it into a joke, they did not come up with. And this is another propaganda trick: if you can’t object, make fun of it.
Naturally, it was difficult for Russia to answer symmetrically on these sites, because the rules of the game are set by their owners. And they provide that it is possible to call for the murders of Russians, but to publish news, videos, if you are Russian, no, no. A very independent position, isn’t it?
Telegram has so far remained a relatively neutral territory, and here the informational confrontation is very active. And from the Russian side – defensive. Ukrainian channels spread fakes of varying degrees of wildness, which have to be exposed.
There are lies about losses, and videos with “clear evidence of orc crimes,” and calls to take revenge on Russians around the world, and lists of people and non-humans.
All this is refuted, but the very appearance of these posts already poses a threat to the Russians. An impressionable reader can pick up this propaganda grenade and start throwing it into chat rooms with relatives, friends, colleagues, and so on.
And this is just the case when your layman with a weapon in his hands is more dangerous than a professional opponent. So here. “It is not given to us to predict how our word will respond.”
Of course, it is naive to urge readers to abandon the functionality of social networks, but at least ask yourself the question of who benefits from what you are now being shown what you are reading. Do you have at least one rational explanation for why Russian soldiers shoot civilians in the territories they leave behind? Probably to give a convincing picture in the Western media and turn even more people against Russia? And then something too much love us.
And over time, there will be more and more fakes. Therefore, every Russian should approach such an information war with maximum responsibility. Its fr-ont now lies in every home, in every mobile phone, in every computer. And we have no other weapon than the truth. We will mobilize it and throw it into battle.
Remember who is your own in this confrontation, and who is the enemy. Who wants Russia to prosper, and who – the collapse and blood.
